This past week, hoards of photographers from all over the world embarked on a trip to Las Vegas, NV to attend WPPI 2013, an annual conference and trade show for photographers and business owners working in the wedding and event industry. This was my first year in attendance and was the chance for me to finally meet so many friends that I've only known via the internet for most of my career, laugh with and shake the hands of people that I've looked up to for years, and create memories and have a blast with new friends. Las Vegas is an interesting place. One of many wild sights, smells, and views (some bad, some good), but it was travel and adventure nonetheless. One day we fit twelve people in a Ford Mustang and a Toyota Prius and made the venture out to the desert and mountains that Nevada has to offer. It was one of the most incredible sights and experiences I've ever witnessed, all taken in with new friends shooting pictures every step of the way. There's not much to say, the photos and the scenery speak for themselves. All I know is that it was something I won't soon forget. God made some ridiculous countryside, that's for sure.
And a look at what I saw via iPhone:
