Well, well, well. It’s been a little while since we’ve seen a wedding on the blog, eh? Lucky for you guys, I’ve only got two left to shoot for 2014, and after that, your eyes will be getting quite a bit more action from this here blog. It’s been an insanely busy summer and fall, one of my craziest to-date, but I’m also shooting some of my favorite work I’ve ever shot, and I’m so stoked to begin showing more and more of it here in the coming days/weeks/months. So let’s flash back a bit to July of this year. A bit of a cloudy, but still absolutely perfect day in my eyes. Erin + Jason (you may remember their rad Chicago engagement session here), had such an incredible Detroit wedding day.
Getting ready at the Westin Book Cadillac, a Ceremony in the absolutely mind-blowing Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament on Woodward, and dinner and dancing at the world-famous Detroit Institute of Arts (consequently, one of my favorite venues on this earth). So what do you get when you combine two ridiculously good-looking people with style oozing out of their ears, with a serene, cloudy day, hilarious friends, and perfect venues? You get this little story below, and a story I was absolutely honored to tell. Erin and Jason, thank you guys for the ridiculous honor of sharing your day with you. These are memories that won’t soon be forgotten.
Not to mention, I got to have Mae along for the ride on this one to second shoot like a champ. Always an absolute blast. Check out her work if you know what’s good for you.
